JHS Integrates Environmental Sustainability Through TLE Month Celebration

To promote healthy living and environmental awareness, the Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College (OLOPSC) Junior High School Department officially launched its Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Month celebration on July 30 with the theme, "Sa PPAN, Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!"
As part of the month-long celebration, the TLE Subject Area organized a series of intersection competitions highlighting the importance of proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle practices, and environmental stewardship through the subtheme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan."
The activities encouraged students to actively participate in meaningful and collaborative competitions that strengthened their understanding of sustainable living while developing teamwork, creativity, and responsible citizenship.
"I'm happy that I'm one of the representatives of my section because I played a special role. We had a lot of ups and downs during the practice, but what matters the most is we enjoyed it! We cannot do this without the support of our classmates and our adviser," shared Yanna Dela Cruz, a Grade 7 student.
Through this celebration, the Junior High School Department continues to integrate environmental sustainability into classroom learning by encouraging students to adopt healthy habits and become responsible stewards of the environment. The activity also reflects OLOPSC's commitment to holistic education by nurturing learners who value wellness, sustainability, and community involvement.
