The Grade School Department reinforces the school’s mission, vision, and core values to further enhance the students’ skills, and for them to be geared for Junior High School.

Through the department’s rigorous academic training and improved communication skills development, OLOPSC is building a strong foundation for its students for the 21st century workplace readiness and adaptation to globalized standards.

In addition, the institution promotes inclusivity and equality toward the youth, with no one to be left behind.

Our K to 12 Compliant Curriculum

At OLOPSC Grade School, we give way to the K to 12 program’s objectives that aim to provide every learner with the necessary knowledge and skills to be globally competitive. Building further on the skills acquired in Preschool would likely make them expertise learners in preparation for the Junior High School.

In view of the program’s core curriculum, our focus is on the mastery of the key subjects and the 21st century themes. These subjects are English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, Edukasyong sa Pagpapakatao, Technology and Livelihood Education and Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health. The instruction suggests that learners must learn important skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, creativity, technology literacy, and social-emotional development for success in today’s world.

In like manner, we aim for our graduates to acquire competence in communication, demonstrate functional understanding and application of Science and Math concepts, principles, skills and processes, develop socio-physical, mental, emotional well-being and creative skills, and exhibit intensified spiritual, moral and socio-ecological values.
