“Without language, one cannot talk to people and understand them; one cannot share their hopes and aspirations, grasp their history, appreciate their poetry, or savor their songs.”
This quote from the highly respected leader, Nelson Mandela, resonates in times like this when we are experiencing one of the longest global challenges in this new decade, the COVID-19 pandemic. The English language is instrumental in making valuable and lasting connections across the world, the country, and in our OLOPSC community.
To raise the vibrations in our midst, the call for creative and worthwhile activities that will enhance the English skills of our 21st century learners and form new, valuable, and enriching experiences were created by the dedicated English Teachers and performed by our cute and lovable Grades 1 and 2 learners with the support and assistance of their wonderful parents.
“Coping with the Challenges of the New Normal through English Proficiency”, November’s Theme of the Month was launched along with the month’s activities. This was done by the English Subject Area Chair, Mrs. Lovely Villar during the GS Faculty Meeting held on October 29, 2020.

Congratulations to all the section and level winners in Grades 1 and 2! Keep up the good work, kids! Many thanks to our Grades 1 and 2 parents.
We believe that each child is a vessel of unearthed skills and talents that need to be nurtured – thus, the need for continuing education in this New Normal. Enjoyable activities such as these paved the way for their development into our country’s future leaders.
We highly appreciate the continuous and formidable partnership with our trusted parents, who are one with the Grade School Administrators and Faculty in raising our young OLOPSCians to bring out the best in each one, so they could share and showcase their God-given talents for others to appreciate and witness.
