The re-launching of Water Day aims to promote healthy living among the pupils and also to their parents. This advocacy will be observed for the whole school year, every Wednesday.
The re-launching began after the class’ circle time when the teacher shared to the class a short video clip about drinking water, instead of sodas or juices. After the video clip, teacher explained the importance of drinking water and what it can do to our body. The pupils were encouraged to drink water, not just every Wednesday, but every day! Teacher also taught them a “Water Day” song.

After singing, the pupils were asked to bring out their favorite water bottle or tumbler. The teachers and the pupils drank water at the same time. Teacher also reminded them that every Wednesday, flavored drinks are discouraged during classes since it’s Water Day.
